Undergraduate Research Assistant in Data Driven Decision Making Lab

The Data-Driven Decision Making (D3M) Lab at Penn State is recruiting undergraduate research assistants! The D3M Lab is directed by Dr. Sayed Reza, an Assistant Professor of Computer Science(https://www.smreza.com/profile/d3m-lab/).

Current Projects:

  1. Predicting Hospital Resource Utilization: A Machine Learning-Based Approach Using Electronic Operational Record
  2. NeuroAdaptive VR (NAVR): A Personalized Approach to Improve Peer Interaction of youth Using Virtual Reality and Biofeedback
  3. Real-Time Defect Detection in Additive Manufacturing Using Deep Learning and Thermal Imaging
  4. Quantum-Enhanced Unit Commitment for Next-Gen Power Systems

Our lab re-envisions urban, open government, and health data using wearable sensors from a data-driven decision-making perspective. We aim to ensure informative, secure, and more efficient government and health information towards Computer Science Solutions and transform it into Education.

Method of Compensation: Research assistants will receive Hourly rate of salary according to penn state harrisburg.
